Afro

Yesterday Curbris was brushing Sadie's hair and made her have an afro. It was so cute I had to take some pictures of it. I am pretty luck that both my girls have such beautiful hair.

Sadie

Last Saturday Sadie turned 18 months and she starting walking. I knew that in her own time she would walk, but I have been ready for a while for her to walk. Everyday she has gotten better at walking and is starting to crawl less and less. She is a heavy little girl and carrying her can be hard so I am glad she is walking. 18 months also means that she gets to go to the nursery. Last week we had stake conference so tomorrow will be her 1st Sunday in nursery. I am sure she will love it. Her new favorite words that she tells everyone is "love you." She will repeat it a few times and than blow u a kiss. It makes me laugh every time I hear her say it. I can't believe how much she has changed and grown in the last 18 months.

Easter!!

I cant believe how fast Easter came and went. Friday night into Saturday morning I worked a 12 hour shift and that really messed up all the plans I had for Saturday. I ended up sleeping most of Saturday and by the time I woke up the day was gone. It also had rain most of the day, so we had our Easter Egg hunt on Sunday instead of Saturday. We never got around to coloring eggs this year so hopefully next year we will. Easter morning the girls got there Easter treats.

This is what Karma got: a coloring book, earrings, bubbles, at work I made her the duckie cookie, and lots of candy.

This is what Sadie got: a coloring book with crayons, bubbles, I made her an Easter egg cookie, and lots of candy.

As I was getting myself and the girls ready for church, Curbris informs me that he cant make it to church he is to sick. I knew I was in trouble it seems when daddy stays home sick and I take the girls to church by myself they act very different. So I bravely took them by myself and prayed that they would behave. Everything was going great and than Sadie starting yelling so I started to stuff her mouth with cheerios and that worked for a little bit. Than Karma decided that she was done coloring needed to come bother her sister. Sadie starting crying I got up and went outside calmed her down and went back in. Lets just say it was a long sacrament meeting and I have no idea what the talks were about. It was also my week to teach in primary, Sadie only has one more week until she can go to the nursery. I probably should of just taken her to the nursery but I took her with me. She was horrible and a big distraction. My partner had to take her in the hall until class was done.

After church we went to my parents house to spend the rest of the day with them. We didn't get to take a family pictures because Curbris was at home in bed sick. Here are the pictures we took of the girls.

Karma in her Easter dress.

Sadie taking a picture

So when u get three little girls together it is hard to get them to sit still and take a picture. This was the best one we got.

Than it all went downhill.

Sadie had a enough and of course everybody else is smiling.

After pictures it was time for dinner and egg hunt.

Sadie really enjoyed her Easter dinner, she had mashed potatoes everywhere.

Karma finding eggs.

Sadie and Uncle Jack. Sadie had no interest in finding eggs she just wanted to eat what was inside.

Karma loved finding all the eggs.

Day At The Zoo

Me, my mom, and sister took the girls to the zoo for the first time today. I had never been to the Phoenix zoo and it was much bigger than the zoo in El Paso that I grew up going to. We had a blast there was so much to do. We ended up buying a year pass because we didn't get to see everything. I dropped my camera as we were getting ready to go in so it was giving me a lot of trouble and I didn't take to many pictures.
Karma thought this huge seashell was cool.

They had a little area where you could go and pet the goats. They also had little brushes that u could use. Karma loved chasing the goats around trying to brush them.

She did a wonderful job and I was very surprise that she wasn't scared, she seems to be scared of everything sometimes.

Sadie also liked petting the goat, she didn't like that most of the time they would run away from her.

Another cool thing they had was a Little People playground the best part about it was it was only for little kids. I hate taking the girls to the park when there are a lot of bigger kids because they are a little more wild and hog up certain things. Karma loved this little cow and she liked going up and down the slide.

Sadie also liked the cow it was perfect size for her.

Around the play area they had these cool little picnic tables, they were perfect size for the girls.

Me and Sadie.

Me and Karma.

The girls enjoying the zoo. We rented this cool double stroller thingy, Karma loved riding in it and she loved that she could get in and out easily.
There was just to much excitement Sadie fell asleep and actually slept most of the time we were there.

Karma and grandma.

A lot of the animals were asleep or hiding so we didn't get to see a lot of them, but the rhinos were out. It was funny to hear Karma try to say rhinocerous.

Than as we are leaving Sadie wakes up. We had a blast and will be back soon next time we will have to take daddy with us.

Daddy's Hidden Talent

One of Curbris hidden talents is that he is pretty good at doing hair. Ever since Karma was born he has always wanted to do her hair. I can remember getting mad at him a few times because Karma was only a few months old and he would put all this product in her hair. He has gotten better as the girls have gotten older. So last night he decided out of the blue he wanted to do something with the girls hair so I took some pictures of there cute new hairstyles.
Curbris working on Karma's hair, trust me she never smiles when I do her hair.

He is a natural.

Love the ponytail holder in the mouth.

Karma has such beautiful hair, but we need to take her to get another haircut.

This is the ponytail the Curbris did, not bad.

These are Sadie's pigtails that daddy did, I love them.
Sadie loves her new hairstyle.

Hey whats this I have never had my hair up like this before.

What a cutie.
Now Karma's turn to do a few poses with the new hair.

Looking all grown-up.

I am a pretty luck person to have such beautiful little girls and a wonderful husband.
Update:
So it has been two weeks since we have moved and I am still unpacking boxes. I was doing really good and had most things unpacked and than this week work killed me. This was Easter week and the other girl I worked with had to take some days off so I had a few extra shifts. It wouldn't have been that bad, but because it close to a holiday we have been so busy. So this week I really have put the house on hold because I am so tired. So pictures of the house are on hold until things start to slow down just a little.

Moving

This past weekend we moved into our new house. It is great to be out of an apartment and into a house. For three years we lived in a one bedroom apartment and we have been wanting to move for a while, but just hadn't. So about a month ago a sister in our ward asked me if we were interested in renting a house that they had. I told her we were interested and saw it that same day. After looking at the house we both knew that it would be perfect for us. Everything about it is great. We are in the same ward, we have a backyard, we have a laundry room, and we have a so much more space. I have been unpacking for the past few days and once I get everything unpacked I will post some pictures of our new house.
